Pamela Mullins is proud mom and grandma to five children and seven grandchildren.  When she is not teaching piano, she loves to watch birds, garden, walk, read great literature, and travel.  

Alexandra Mullins

   A native of Charlotte, NC, Ms. Alexandra has played harp and piano since the age of four and in 2016 received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. From 2016-2017, she worked as an Itinerant Musician at Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, where she performed folk and early music in 18th century costume. She has performed throughout the US as the American Harp Society Young Artist and in Europe and Asia for various competitions, winning prizes in the Korea International Harp Competition, the USA International Harp Competition, and the Israel International Harp Contest. She currently resides in Norfolk, VA where she maintains a piano and harp studio, and performs throughout the Richmond and Hampton Roads regions as a soloist and harpist with professional orchestras, such the Richmond Symphony, Virginia Symphony Orchestra, and the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra. As an early pioneer of web cam lessons, she earned first place in several national awards and a full merit scholarship to Indiana University while receiving sole instruction through high school years via Skype lessons. She currently gives and receives coaching via web cam for long distance learning.
